Is a hot air brush gentler than a dryer and a round brush?
It is usually less handling, because one tool is doing the pulling and the heating at once, and less handling is less breakage.
Should hair be wet or damp before using a hot air brush?
Damp, not wet. Rough-dry to about eighty per cent first, or you spend the heat on evaporating water rather than shaping anything.
Why a microfibre wrap instead of a bath towel?
A bath towel is a rough loop that grabs at the cuticle. Microfibre pulls water out with far less friction, and it is lighter on your neck.
How long should I leave a hair wrap on?
Ten to twenty minutes. Long enough to take the drip out, not so long that hair dries in the shape of the twist.
How do I wash a microfibre wrap?
Warm machine wash, no fabric softener. Softener coats the fibres and that is exactly what stops them absorbing.
Will heat tools damage colour-treated hair?
Heat is heat, so use the lowest setting that does the job and a heat protectant. If your colourist has given you advice, theirs is better than ours because they can see your hair.
How much is delivery?
Free on orders over $100. Under that it is a flat $27.50 across Australia, and that figure includes GST on the carriage.
How long will my order take to arrive?
5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour handling time. A tracking number is emailed the moment it leaves us.
Can I pay extra to get it faster?
Yes. Express is a paid upgrade offered at the checkout for $27.50. If your order is already over $100 you can either take the free standard service or pay for express.
